Our tour guide will be ready to welcome you upon arrival at Mandalay International Airport. The friendly and experienced driver will transfer you to hotel.
Once you are checked in at hotel, we will arrange a visit to experience the sights of Mandalay including the most revered monument in Myanmar, Mahamuni Pagoda, the Royal Palace, the last palace built by Burmese Royals, Shwenandaw Kyaung Monastery, a superb example of traditional wooden building, Kuthodaw Pagoda, the world’s largest book with 729 stone slabs… As we are in Mandalay, the cultural hub of Myanmar, spend time to enjoy an evening puppet show. After breakfast at hotel, our guide will pick you up to jetty to take boat to Mingun, located about 11 kilometers upriver from Mandalay.
In Mingun, we will visit Pahtodawgyi Pagoda, the unfinished huge pagoda, which is ruined state, but the remains are impressive. Make our way to visit Mingun Bell, the world largest uncracked bell, and beautiful white Hsinbyume Pagoda.
Leave Mingun, continue the downstream cruise back to Mandalay. Our next stop is Amarapura. Your family will visit the famous Buddhist monastery of Mahar Gandar Yone to know more about monks’ life. Since there is famous for silk and cotton weaving, we will visit a traditional hand-woven silk workshop. The highlight of today’s trip is UBein Bridge. Take a paddle-boat to enjoy one of the most beautiful sunset sceneries in the world. Drive back to hotel. Overnight in Mandalay.
This morning comes by a drive to Pakokku, a quiet and traditional country town, located 25 kilometers north of Bagan. As it’s famous for tobaco and thanaka, pay a visit to a tobaco manufacturer, and thanaka market.
From Pakokku, take a private boat downstream Irrawaddy River. Our next destination is Bagan, which is known as one of the most popular aecheological sites in Asia with thousands temples, pagodas, and ancient stupas.
The remainder of the afternoon is free time to relax. Overnight in Bagan.
Start our day by a visit to lively Nyaung U morning market, where your family will have an opportunity to see variety of products, or meet local people.
Then head to explore the temples zone by horsecart, visit to Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype for later pagodas in Myanmar, the beautiful Htilominlo Temple, Ananda Temple with its four standing Buddha images inside, Gubyaukgyi Temple with the best preserved mural paintings in Bagan, the impressive Dhammayangyi… Finish our day at Shwesandaw Temple and delight with magical sunset of the whole plains and the Irrawaddy River.

Enjoy delightful breakfast at hotel, this moring we will visit Min Nan Thu village and Phwa Saw village, specializing in making lacquer, to learn how famous Bagan lacquerware crafts are produced and decorated with traditional methods. Here your family can try creating some products and bring them home as souvenirs.
This afternoon might be exciting as it offers a great chance for you, especially you children to see some special species in Myanmar. Proceed to Nyaung Hla village which is the roost location for the giant bat, a natural treasure of Myanmar. Then return to Lawkanandar Wildlife Sanctuary in New Bagan, an oasis of tropical Bagan, to see Myanmar star tortoise, Eld’s deer and other rare species. We can also enjoy the whole view of Irrawaddy River and see its specialized species, Irrawaddy dolphin. Back to your hotel. Overnight in Bagan.
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport to take a domestic flight to Heho. From Heho, drive to Inle Lake, a little paradise in Shan plateau. Inle is the second largest natural lake in Myanmar, famous for one-leg paddling techinque of Intha fishermen, and beautiful floating villages and gardens.
Enjoy the beautiful sights along the way to Inle, pay a visit to a pagoda or monastery if you are interested. The remainder of the day is leisure time for you to immerse into the beauty of nature.

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. Today a private boat and guide will take you on a sightseeing tour of Inle Lake. Visit the lake’s morning market, which rotates its location around the lake’s villages in a 5 days rhythm. Then head to Phaung Daw U Pagoda, the main sanctuary of the lake, which houses 5 sacred Buddha images covered in gold leaf. Explore the local crafts with a stop at the weaving village of Inpawkhone, where is famous for the weaving of the stems of lotus making the unique fabrics in the world. We also stop at a cheroot factory to observe typical Burmese cigars made by hand. Overnight in Inle.
This morning, we will take boat to Indein village in the Western shore of the lake through a long narrow creek. Wander around to explore the daily life of the Pa Oh. Walk in a stair path leading to the hidden cluster of ruined pagodas, Nyaung Ohak. Continue to climb up to the top of the hill where Shwe Inn Thein Pagoda is located, enjoy the view of the whole village and surrounding area. Back to your hotel.
The rest of the day is your leisure time to relax. Overnight in Inle Lake.
Transfer to Heho Airport for a morning flight to Yangon. We will finish our family trip at Yangon, the beautiful former capital of Myanmar. Despite being of a bustling city, Yangon still has an intriguing charm with magnificent pagodas, picturesque lakes, and colonial buildings.
Afternoon, we will begin with sightseeing around the city through some colonial- era architectures. Visit to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, which houses the largest Recling Buddha image. Head to Shwedagon Pagoda in the late afternoon. The pagoda covered with 60 tons of gold leaf is the most scared site in the country. Here you can see one of the most beautiful sunset sceneries while listen to the murmuring prays of pilgrims.
Overnight in Yangon.
Refresh our day by take the local ‘circular train’ through Yangon and its suburbs. If offer a great chance to mingle with local people, and see scenic view along the way.
Afternoon, visit to Bogyoke Market (Scott Market), the largest selection of Myanmar handicrafts and souvenirs with over 2000 shops. Make our way to Kandawgyi Park, the lush green garden with wide variety and colorful fragrant flowers to relax and get some fresh air. Enjoy the attractive sunset when the glittering Shwedagon is reflected in Kandawgyi Lake. Overnight in Yangon.
After breakfast, free time at leisure. You can rest at hotel or discover Yangon on your own until time for departure flight. End of 11-days of family vacation in Myanmar.
