Itinerary

Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our local guide, then transfer to hotel. Our family tour starts at Yangon, the bustling formal capital with magnificent pagodas, picturesque lakes, and beautiful colonial buildings.
We will visit to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, which houses the largest Reclining Buddha image in the country, stroll through colonials buildings with special architectures. By the late afternoon, mark the first day in Myanmar by a visit to Shwedagon Pagoda, the heart of Myanmar’s Buddhist community. You can experience one of the most sacred sights of sunset in your life when the sun turning red and sparkling lights begin to shine the golden pagoda. Finish our first day in Myanmar. Overnight in Yangon.

Breakfast at hotel, today we will go for sightseeing around the city. Take the local ‘circular train’ through Yangon and its suburbs, which is a valuable experience to help your children know about different culture as mingling with local people.
Afternoon, head to the downtown to visit Boyoke Market (Scott Market), an ideal place for your family to wander around to see different products from handicrafts to souvenirs. Our last stop will be Kandawgyi Park, a lush green garden with variety colorful flowers, where you will relax, get some fresh air and enjoy beautiful sunset when the glittering Shwedagon is reflected in the calm water of Kandawgyi Lake. Overnight in Yangon.

As the sun begins to shine, after breakfast at hotel, board a flight to Mandalay, a charming ancient capital.
We will visit  to Mahamuni Pagoda, housing the most revered image, Royal Palace, the last palace built by Burmese Royals, Shwenandaw Kyaung Monastery, a superb example of traditional wooden building, Kuthodaw Pagoda, the world’s largest book with 729 stone slabs… As we are in Mandalay, a cultural hub of Myanmar, spend time to enjoy an evening puppet show. Overnight in Mandalay. 

Brighten this day by a visit to Jade Market where precious stones are found in all forms. Your children will be interested in a variety of colors of stones as well as the bustling and vibrant atmosphere of the market, then transfer to jetty to take boat to Mingun, one of the royal city around Mnadalay. Visit to unfinished huge Pahtodawgyi Pagoda, Mingun Bell- the world largest uncracked bell, and the beautiful white Hsinbyume Pagoda.
Leave Mingun, continue the downstream cruise back to Mandalay. Our next destination is Amarapura. Visit to Mahar Gandar Yone Monastery to know more about monks’ life, stop at a traditional hand-woven silk workshop. Finish this day by a walking on UBein Bridge, the longest and oldest teak bridge in the world. Enjoy spectacular sunset view. Back to your hotel. Overnight in Mandalay.

This morning comes by a flight to Heho Airport. Upon arrival, transfer to Inle, a gem of Shan plateau. The 22 kilometers long lake is renowned for one-leg paddling technique of Intha fishermen, and beautiful floating villages and gardens. Enjoy the scenic view along the way to Inle. Pay  a visit to a pagoda or monastery on the way if you’re interested.
The remainder of the day is your leisure time to relax and immerse into beauty of the nature. Overnight in Inle.

Today, we will take a boat to explore Inle Lake. Visit to the local 5-day market, which rotates its location around the lake’s villages in a 5 days rhythm. Then head to Phaung Daw U Pagoda, the main sanctuary of the lake, which houses 5 sacred Buddha images covered in gold leaf. Explore the local crafts with a stop at the weaving village of Inpawkhone, where is famous for the weaving of the stems of lotus making the unique fabrics in the world. We also stop at a cheroot factory to observe typical Burmese cigars made by hand. Overnight in Inle.

Breakfast at hotel, back to Heho Airport for a flight to Bagan, the Heart of Buddhism. Bagan is one of the richest archaeological sites in Asia with thousands temples, pagodas, and ancient stupas, providing view quite unlike anywhere else on the earth.
Then among thousands temples, visit to some magnificent monuments, including Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later pagodas in Myanmar, Ananda Temple, the finest and best preserved temple, the magnificent in white with panoramic view Thatbyinnyu Temple… By late afternoon, Shwesandaw is perfect place to watch sunset over Bagan plain and the legendary Irrawaddy River. Overnight in Bagan.

Begin the 8th day by a visit to Nyaung U market, where you can find everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to handicrafts, meet local people, or try wearing thanaka paste on your face.
Continue bicycling to discover the traditional life of local people. Visit to Minanthu and Phwa Saw village, which are specialized in making lacquer. Here you can observe step by step of making lacquer or try creating some products to bring home as souvenirs.
(*)Option: Take a hot air ballon ride in the early morning to have a bird’s eyes view of Bagan plain of temples and pagodas lit up below. It brings a breathtaking view, a priceless experience

Enjoy delightful breakfast at hotel, this morning will offer a great chance for you especially your children to immerse into the nature. We will head to Nyaung Hla village, where is the roost location for Myanmar giant bat. With about 3500 individual, they are the nature treasure of Myanmar.
Return to New Bagan to visit Lawkananda Wildlife Sanctuary, an oasis of Bagan with many rare species like Myanmar star tortoise, Eld’s deer… You can also enjoy the view of Irrawaddy River, and its specialized species, Irrawaddy dolphin.
Back to your hotel. The rest or the day is free time. Overnight in Bagan.

Morning flight to Thandwe, then transfer from airport to hotel on Ngapali Beach, 20 minutes drive to the south. This is dream beach with 7 kilometers of white sand fringed with palm trees. The turquoise sea is crystal clear.
The remainder of the day is leisure time to relax and enjoy the natural and unspotted beauty.
Overnight in Ngapali.

Absolutely, it is a safe place to visit. Most of the country is considered safe by Myanmar government.  Insurgency problems near the Indian and Thai borders are in areas far off the beaten track and will not affect a traveller’s journey through Myanmar in any way.

Roughly saying, the best time is about from October until March next year. For this period, you can enjoy mild weather, it’s sunny but not too hot (23 to 30 degree temperature). It doesn’t mean that from April to September you shouldn’t travel to Myanmar. During this time, the weather is quite hot or there is heavy rain, but not everywhere and every time.
